Hi, I'm Katie!
I am a mama of three not-so-little kiddos, wife to my best friend, a passionate birth worker and yoga teacher.
After the birth of my son in 2011 I took my doula training with DONA International and attended my first birth in January of 2012 and I was HOOKED. *Cue the beginning of birth nerd status.
I began my practice in Whitecourt, AB where I attended rural births in Whitecourt, Barrhead and Edson as well as multiple hospitals in the Edmonton area. I currently serve the Grande Prairie, AB where I attend hospital and homebirths.
MY MISSION
INSPIRE|EDUCATE|CONNECT
Pregnancy and birth is where women find their roar...where they feel like they could climb Mount Everest. And if they haven't, they DESERVE to feel it. It is my priority to equip my clients and their birth team with evidence-based and anecdotal research to make informed decisions as well as the tools needed to have a positive birth experience.
Women have the innate strength and ability to carry, birth and mother her baby and I aim to illuminate that for every woman I support. I educate families on the importance of self care and nurturing themselves as I truly believe this makes all the difference in our journey and relationships.
